Processing: Strand is made from cold-drawn non-alloy steel (high carbon content) wires. The Seven-wire strand consists of a group of single wires arranged in stranded formation.

Geometrical Properties:

• The seven-wire strand have the following geometrical properties:
• Type of material: Seven-wire steel strand
• Nominal diameter of strand: 7.9mm (7/2.6mm)
• Tolerance on the nominal diameter of strand: +0.4mm
• Nominal cross-sectional area of strand: 37.4mm².

Mechanical Properties:

• Nominal mass of strand: 294g/m;
• Minimum Breaking Load: 64.50kN;
• 0.2% proof load: 54.70kN.
